Summer School on EU Energy Law and Policy

Revising the Role of Renewables – Decarbonising Energy and Transportation: The Short and Long-Term Legal Challenges

Directed by Professor Leigh Hancher and Dr Dörte Fouquet, this training provides critical insight and a comprehensive understanding of recent developments in EU energy law and policy. This year the course will open by assessing the legal and policy framework of the Energy Union and how these plans will be applied in practice. The second part of the course will focus on the challenges of transitioning to a competitive and secure low-carbon economy be examining, in-depth, the role of renewables in the decarbonisation of energy and transport.
