Energy and climate policy across the Atlantic | FSR – MIT CEEPR Annual Conference

At the inaugural FSR–MIT CEEPR Annual Conference on Energy and Climate Policy, held in Florence on 7–8 October 2026, researchers, policymakers and energy experts from Europe and the United States came together to exchange perspectives on pressing energy and climate policy challenges.

In this video, conference participants reflect on the value of transatlantic dialogue, the importance of bringing research and policymaking closer together, and the questions that will shape future cooperation.

Organised by the Florence School of Regulation (FSR) and the MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEPR), the conference builds on a longstanding collaboration between the two institutions, creating opportunities for exchange and mutual learning across the Atlantic.
