FSR in Mauritius for the Regional Forum on Sustainable Energy with Indian Ocean Commission

FSR is part of the first Regional Forum on Sustainable Energy at Mauritius from May 28-30, 2018. The forum is organised by the Indian Ocean commission (IOC) in partnership with European Commission and  French Environment & Energy Management Agency (ADEME)

At the forum our Director, Jean-Michel Glachant will present our capacity building cooperation with the island nations.  In partnership with the IOC, FSR has been working with the island nations of – Seychelles, Mauritius, Madagascar and Comoros since 2017 on topics such as RE integration and access to energy.

FSR will also be conducting a round table on ‘RE and electrification best practices in the island nations’ which is part of an ongoing research project . The roundtable will be conducted by  Samson Hadush, Research Fellow and Swetha RaviKumar Bhagwat, Head of Global Relations.
