Contributing to 4th ‘Energy Policy Considerations’ Conference, 11 March 2016

Energy Policy

Today, the FSR Director Jean-Michel Glachant will speak at the 4th International ‘Energy Policy Considerations’ Conference in Ljubljana.

This year edition is devoted to “Governing Climate Energy Policy” and will focus on the impact of COP21’s conclusions on Slovenian energy & climate policy and markets.

The Conference aims to discuss COP21 commitments and highlight the directions that need to be taken in order to achieve binding targets and identify what has to be changed at national level.

In addition to this main topic, the conference will also address other issues: New Market Design – Energy Transformation’ and ‘Energy Climate Projects – Fulfilling Energy Climate Goals’ .

Jean-Michel will present in the morning at the Plenary Session on ‘Governing a Climate Energy Policy’, together with Péter Kaderják (Regional Center for Energy Policy Research at the Corvinus University of Budapest), Hans Ten Berge (Eurelectric) and Einari Kisel (World Energy Council Secretariat) among the other relevant speakers.

The event is organised by the Slovenian World Energy Council Member Committee and the Slovenian Energy Industry Chamber with the support of the national Ministry of Infrastructure.
