10th FSR Climate Annual Conference | Lecture by Michael Pahle

On 29 November 2024, Michael Pahle, head of the working group “Climate and Energy Policy” at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), held a guest lecture entitled “Is the EU ETS cap (still) credible, and what will determine credibility going forward?” at the 10th Annual Conference on the Economic Assessment of European Climate Policies, which took place at the European University Institute in Florence.

The lecture highlights why credibility has emerged as a key issue for the EU ETS, how we might measure credibility and what could strengthen it in the future.
