
Roberto Cardinale is Assistant Professor in economics at the American University in Cairo. He is also Honorary Research Associate at the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction (UCL), and Research Fellow at Italy’s National University Centre for Applied Economics Studies (C.MET05). His research explores the interface between infrastructure, industrial development, and public policy, with a focus on the energy sector and on the economic and policy role of State-Invested Enterprises in network industries.
