Transport Network

The FSR Transport network is a community of experts and practitioners. We actively foster collaborations with leading companies, focusing not only on transport modes but also on network industries more generally.

The financing for the activities and management of FSR Transport is provided by donor companies with an interest in the subject matter. Companies can participate and support FSR Transport activities through annual donorship.

Representatives of the donors form part of the FSR Transport Advisory Council, which meets once a year and gives recommendation on the working plan, future themes and activities. Donors are constantly in touch with the FSR Transport Director and team, and they are regularly invited to the events organised in Florence. Furthermore, they may propose new initiatives to develop.

Testimonials

The collaboration with the Florence School of Regulation’s Transport Area is very important for us, as Switzerland is also submitted to European regulations in the aviation sector, just like any other EU Member State. As such, this gives us the opportunity to be involved in an early stage in the thought process about new regulations or regulation changes. This allows us to bring in our specific views and opinions about the regulatory framework of aviation.

André Schneider | Director General, Airport of Geneva

The Transport Area of the Florence School of Regulation facilitates a dialogue between academia, policy makers and practitioners from the relevant industries on how policies and regulations may be best shaped to achieve this. HungaroControl believes that FSR Transport creates a forum for a free exchange of thoughts and ideas that may be transferred into innovative policies and regulations. We are honoured to have the opportunity to support this process.

Kornél Szepessy | Chief Executive Officer, HungaroControl
