Biography

PhD in Economics from Fundação Getulio Vargas, in Rio de Janeiro (2001), she was director of the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL), between 2005 and 2009. Visiting professor at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, in 2010, and professor at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, in Rio de Janeiro. She has experience in Economics, working mainly in the following areas: Regulatory Economics, Energy Economics, Auctions, Experimental Economics, Organizational Theory and Contracts. She has been director of the Infrastructure Regulation Center (FGV CERI) since 2010.
