FSR welcomes Open Africa Power initiative participants

FSR welcomed participants from the ‘Open Africa Power’ initiative at our home base in Florence this week. The African participants interacted with FSR researchers to understand the topical global energy issues focused here at FSR.

The Open Africa Power initiative, created by Enel Foundation in partnership with the FSR, aims to forge a new generation of African leaders deeply engaged with their countries clean energy future. After the residential training earlier this year in Strathmore University in Kenya, the participants took FSR’s ‘Regulation for Universal Access to Energy’ online course and are now in Italy for the last leg of residential training.

FSR wishes all the young energy leaders great success in building the new energy future for their countries.
