FSR in Tokyo! Trading LNG at liquid and flexible hubs

On the 27th of March, Jean-Michel Glachant, Director of the Florence School of Regulation will participate in the workshop on ‘Trading LNG at liquid and flexible hubs’ organized jointly by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan and the European Commission Directorate-General for Energy.

The FSR Director will discuss the ways to promote and to encourage the development of trading hubs in the global LNG market in a debate moderated by prof. Tim Boersma from Colombia University.  

In July 2017, the EU and Japan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on promoting and establishing a liquid, flexible and transparent global Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).  

The Tokyo workshop is the second of the series of 4 workshops taking place in various European and Japanese locations between 2017 and 2018.  The opening workshop was hosted in Florence on 14-15 November 2017.
