FSR Climate Annual Conference | Lecture by Xavier Labandeira

On 28 November 2024, Xavier Labandeira, Professor of Economics at the University of Vigo, held a guest lecture entitled “Towards a Just Transition: The Role of Fiscal Policies?” at the 10th Annual Conference on the Economic Assessment of European Climate Policies, which took place at the European University Institute in Florence.

The lecture highlights the importance of equity in climate policies and the potential of fiscal policies to address their negative distributional outcomes.
