Simone Borghesi chairing a policy session at the next EAERE conference in Manchester

Simone Borghesi, Director of FSR Climate and Secretary General of the Policy Outreach Committee of EAERE (European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists), organises a policy session entitled “Policy and academia: bridging the gap” at the next EAERE conference to be held in Manchester on June 28. The session, introduced by Simone Borghesi and Jos Delbeke (Chairman of the Policy Outreach Committee), will see the participation of two invited speakers (Peter Zapfel from DG Climate and Christian Gollier from University of Toulouse) followed by a roundtable with participation of POC members.

At the EAERE conference, on 27 June, Simone Borghesi will also present a paper entitled “Don’t feed the bears! Environmental defensive expenditures and species-typical behavior in an optimal growth model”, and on 29 June will chair, as President of the Italian Association of Environmental and Resource Economists the IAERE meeting.
