LIFE programme logo

The FSR Climate team has been awarded a project funded under the LIFE Programme of the European Commission.

The project called ”LIFE SIDE” – Supporting the Implementation and Development of the EU ETS – will be officially launched at a Kick-off meeting in Brussels, on Monday, 10 October.

The project will provide support to the EU and Member State policy makers (e.g. politicians, civil servants, member of environmental agencies) who will be contributing to the design and implementation of the new EU ETS legislation.  It will produce high quality information on the economic functioning of the EU ETS and create a forum enabling policy makers and stakeholders to interact while working on the new legislation.

A project web site will be soon be published and linked from the FSR Climate web pages. The site will be the major means for keeping up-to-date with the progress and results of the project!
