At the FSR, she is currently investigating EU legislation on energy sharing and its implementation at the national level – being involved in the Horizon project “U2Demo” – as well as the interplay between EU consumer law and the development of new energy services.
Since January 2022, she has been a PhD candidate in EU law at the University of Trento, with a final thesis aimed at exploring the technology neutrality principle, critically assessing its boundaries and interpretative challenges in the context of the European green transition.
As part of her PhD programme – funded by the Italian National Operational Programme on Research and Innovation – she gained practical experience as a legal practitioner at Dolomiti Energia Group in Trento. Moreover, she carried out research stays at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg and the NOVA Green Lab at NOVA School of Law in Lisbon.
She is also a qualified lawyer in Italy.
Before starting her PhD, she worked as a trainee in an international law firm based in Bruxelles, where she was part of the EU law team, regularly assisting the European institutions in drafting studies and reports.
She graduated in EU law from the University of Trento in July 2021.
