Rolf Tuchhardt

Team leader in DG MOVE

Biography

Rolf Tuchhardt is team leader in DG MOVE (European Commission, Single European Sky unit), responsible for a team that implements the performance and charging schemes of the Single European Sky in collaboration with the Performance Review Body.  He is economist by education and worked in the rail sector (Deutsche Bahn and CER in Brussels) prior to joining the European Commission in 2004 where he first spent eight years in DG COMP dealing with regional State aid and merger cases in the transport sector. In 2012, he joined DG MOVE’s Aviation Directorate.
