Biography

Mara is the Training Coordinator since May 2016. She is managing and coordinating all residential and blended training courses, as well as the tailor-made and ad-hoc training requests. She also gathered experience in facilitating online training courses. Additionally, since July 2019 her responsibilities expanded to encompass the area of Donor Relations and the organisation the FSR Policy Workshop series and Policy Advisory Council meetings.

In organising the training courses and policy events she is closely collaborating and communicating – both externally and internally – with the course directors and instructors for the course programs, with the participants as course facilitator, with the Online Team for promotion strategies of the courses and with the administrative service for budgeting and logistics.

Mara holds a BA degree in German and English Philology and an MA degree in Cultural Management, both from Freie Universität Berlin. Before joining the FSR team, Mara worked for the HR service of E.ON in Berlin coordinating the training activities for employees from Germany and Romania.
