Elena mainly works as assistant to Prof. Jean-Michel Glachant, the Director of the Florence School of Regulation. She is also responsible for organising events and seminars at the FSR.
Before joining the FSR as administrative assistant in May 2017, Elena worked as Resident Director for an American study abroad provider in Florence. Her passion for international education was first sparked when she acted as organiser of cultural and social events for international students in Florence. She also collaborated with the NGO Oxfam in Jerusalem where she conducted her final research dissertation on two Bedouin communities.
Elena Parimbelli holds a BA degree in ‘Economics of Development, International Cooperation and Conflict Resolution’ from the University of Florence and a MA degree in ‘Social Anthropology’ from SOAS – University of London.
