Golnoush is part of the FSR research team in energy policy and regulation with the focus on the electricity sector. Currently, her main research interests are regulatory and policy aspects of energy transition, energy systems integration and sector coupling together with the impact of distributed generation integration on network tariffs.
Before joining the FSR as a Research Associate in March 2020, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Politecnico di Torino working on energy systems integration where she was also a Research Affiliate at Energy Centre Lab (EC-L). Golnoush has been previously at Durham University Business School as a visiting PhD student and at the University of St. Gallen’s Chair for Management of Renewable Energies as a visiting research fellow.
She holds a PhD in energy economics and a MSc degree in Management and Engineering both from Politecnico di Torino.
