Biography

Piero is a Research Associate at the FSR, working on energy technologies and electricity-related specific topics. Currently, his main research interests are energy technologies (i.e. electric vehicles, renewable electricity generators and hydrogen) and new business models in the power sector.

 Before joining FSR in February 2019, Piero graduated as a Mechanical engineer from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, with a focus on energy engineering, energy modeling, and policies. During this program, he also did his Master’s Thesis at EPFL Energy Centre and an internship at the energy planning team of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). He holds a BSc degree in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy.
