Bruno Jullien

Biography

Bruno Jullien is Senior Researcher at CNRS and the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE), and a senior member at Institut d’Economie Industrielle (IDEI). He is currently Scientific Director of TSE. His interests cover industrial organization, in particular in the domain of network economics, ICT and competition policy, as well as regulation, insurance and contract theory. He is recognized as a world leading academic researcher on the economics of two-sided markets, which he contributed to develop. He has published numerous articles in renowned scientific reviews and is currently Co-editor of Journal of Economics and Management Strategy and associate editor of Geneva Risk and Insurance Review. He is Fellow of the Econometric Society, member of the Steering Committee of Association of Competition Economics and of the Economic Advisory Group on Competition Policy of the European Commission. He is a Fellow of CEPR, CESIfo and CMPO, and an Honorary Visiting Professor at University of Bristol. Bruno graduated from Ecole Polytechnique, ENSAE and EHESS, and holds a PhD in economics from Harvard University.
