Participants will acquire:

• Understanding of the diversity of telecom networks that are needed to ensure connectivity as well as a plurality of actors involved in the deployment of these networks;
• A comprehensive overview of the EU regulatory framework, with a specific focus on access regulation;
• Understanding of different perspectives concerning investment (telecom firms, NRAs, but also private investors), including new issues raised by national recovery and resilience plans.

The course is tailored to meet the training needs of:

• Regulatory experts who specialize in one specific area and who seek to expand or improve the understanding of issues covered in the course;
• Regulatory experts who have primarily country-specific knowledge and who seek to gain a comparative perspective
• Mid-level employees at regulatory authorities and telecom firms who seek to quickly acquire a fundamental understanding of key issues concerning connectivity
• Policy makers at Ministries competent in the area of the digital economy and telecommunications networks
• Academics whose area of research focuses on connectivity and electronic communications networks (PhD researchers, post-docs)

Awarded to all participants upon receipt of the fee payment, to be submitted before the course starts

Level 2: Certificate of Excellence

Awarded to participants who complete the weekly assignments on time, take part in most of the live classes as well as group discussions (3 out of 5) and deliver the final assignment by the prescribed deadline.
