What they say about our courses

  • Andris Piebalgs

I really loved the online course “Regulation of the power sector.

The power sector is going through a transformation today. Europe’s Energy Union, liberalisation of the power sector, the growing part of renewable energy in the energy mix provides for new opportunities in providing more sustainable energy supply. At the same time the role of ‘smart’ regulation is getting even more important. This course helps to go to the depths of power sector regulation. It is serious, interactive and require a lot of independent research in a chosen power system. I especially enjoyed the live classes at the end of each chapter.

I can recommend this course for all interested in power system management.

Andris Piebalgs – former EU Energy Commissioner and Senior Fellow at the FSR

  • Alberto Pototschnig (ACER)

I think that the new training on EU Gas Network Codes, which is not just reading or explaining the rules, but also explaining what the rules are intended to deliver, is very good, because that is where the knowledge needs to be shared.

Alberto Pototschnig – Director of the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER)

  • Susanne Nies

The Regulation of the Power Sector online course is the most innovative and eficient crash course on power I have seen!

Susanne Nies – Corporate Aairs Manager ENTSO-E

  • Dennis Hesseling, Head of the Gas Department at ACER

The FSR course on Trans-European Energy Networks Regulation provides an excellent opportunity for structured on-line interactions between students and lecturers on relevant topics for energy infrastructure regulation. The students were well prepared, and in particular the mastery challenges submitted provided very good material for discussion.

Dennis Hesseling – Head of the Gas Department at ACER
