Fabien Roques is an Associate Professor at University Paris Dauphine and the Florence School of Regulation and an Executive Vice President with the economics consultancy Compass Lexecon where he leads the European energy practice.
His expertise spans European power, gas, and carbon dioxide (CO2) markets, with a specific focus on market design and regulation. Fabien is a regular contributor to academic and professional journals on economic issues related to the energy industry.
Previous roles included leading the IHS CERA European power and carbon research and consulting team, and contributing to the World Energy Outlook as a Senior Economist with the International Energy Agency.
