Rebecca Himsl

Rebecca comes to the Florence School of Regulation from École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, where she worked as a program coordinator for the IGLUS Executive Master’s program and as Editor of IGLUS Quarterly, a publication on governance, innovation and performance in cities, which she has brought with her to FSR. With a professional and educational background that is strongly rooted in spatial analysis and environmental monitoring, she is keenly interested in the intersections between the natural and built environments as well as the human equity of urban settlements.

Rebecca holds a diploma in environmental sciences from the University of Alberta, Canada, and is in the final stages of completing her Master’s in environmental monitoring and modeling at ÉPFL, Switzerland.
