Prof. Baldick (University of Texas) joins FSR

- Electricity, undefined

The FSR Energy is glad to welcome Professor Ross Baldick from the University of Texas at Austin. Prof. Baldick is author and co-author of several scientific articles and books, with a specific interest in transmission system planning and operation, electricity markets operation, and integration of renewables and electric vehicles. Thanks to his long career in electrical engineering and power systems analysis, both as an academic and a practitioner, Prof. Baldick combines a sound theoretical knowledge with a strong understanding of practical details.

During his stay in Florence, Prof. Baldick will join the FSR research team and work on the comparison between the American and the European approach to electricity balancing markets, on distribution tariffs in the context of growing distributed energy resources, and on other issues related to the regulation of electricity infrastructures.
